Develop and build your career

With an apprenticeship, you can learn and progress your career at the same time. If your job role is evolving, and you need to retrain, an apprenticeship would allow you to work whilst you study.

Apprenticeships enable you to develop and apply essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours that are necessary for your role, helping you to progress and get ahead in your career. An apprenticeship shows that you have commitment and dedication to your chosen profession, and that you want to move forward, not just stay in the position that you are in at the moment.

What do I need to tell my employer?

If you’d like to do an apprenticeship you’ll need to talk to your employer to see how they might be able to support you. Your employer might already have an apprenticeship scheme in place. Speak to your manager to confirm whether your employer is currently offering apprenticeship schemes with us, and ask them to get in touch.

You can also direct them to our apprenticeships for employers section for more information.
