QAA insights
As one of the top financial training providers in the UK, we ensure that we meet high-quality standards for both our students and tutors.
In our 2020 Higher Education Review, we adhered to the required level of QAA standards for Higher Education (Alternative Providers), and the review team formed these insights about our standards and quality:
- The maintenance of the academic standards of awards offered on behalf of degree awarding bodies and/or other awarding organisations meets UK expectations
- The quality of student learning opportunities meets UK expectations.
The QAA team identified the following as good practice:
- The comprehensive and interactive virtual learning environment MyKaplan, rapidly developed and enhanced during COVID-19, provides a highly effective resource for student learning and makes a particularly positive contribution to student achievement and satisfaction (Core practice 4).
The QAA team made no recommendations to Kaplan although we continue to work on our continuous improvement plan.
Our most recent monitoring visit took place in November 2023. The review team concluded that Kaplan Financial Ltd (Kaplan) was making commendable progress since the November 2020 Higher Education Review.
